Environmental Specialist

An ecologist and environmental scientist with extensive expertise in managing environmental approvals, compliance, and ecological assessments in the Northern Territory and Queensland. With a robust background in soil and water science, project management, and environmental chemistry, Sally delivers innovative and practical solutions across sectors including mining, ecology, and environmental consulting.

Sally has contributed to significant projects, from invasive grass impact studies to fauna and flora surveys and has played a key role in ecological research, ecological surveys and environmental approvals for resource companies. Her Northern Territory work includes roles with the NT Department of Planning & Environment, where she conducted aquatic macroinvertebrate sampling, and research contributions on aquatic ecology, amphibian ecophysiology and mangrove-dwelling species.

A First-Class Honours graduate in Aquatic Ecology from Charles Darwin University, Sally’s qualifications include ISO 14001 Internal Auditor certification and advanced field training, such as venomous snake handling and fauna spotter permits.
