Kieran MacKellar : Senior Engineer                                          

Kieran has over 15 years’ operational experience in the Oil and Gas Industry. Kieran started his career in 2006 after graduating from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland, with a BEng (Honours) in Mechanical Engineering Systems. Kieran joined Halliburton in Aberdeen, Scotland, as a Cementing Engineer, spending time working on Projects in the UK North Sea, Holland, Norway, Faroe Islands, Ireland, Canada, USA, Russia, PNG, Thailand and Australia, progressing to the role of Senior Engineer in his 8 years with the company. During his time with Halliburton Kieran worked with clients such as ExxonMobil, Chevron, Woodside, Eni, Oil Search and Talisman providing Cementing Engineering solutions to Drilling teams on a number of projects in Deepwater Drilling, Plug and Abandonments and HPHT wells both onshore and offshore.

In Late 2013 Kieran made the switch to an Oil & Gas Operator, joining Origin Energy’s Drilling and Completions team. Kieran spent time working on challenging workover and well integrity issues. During his time with Origin, Kieran was involved in the planning and execution of engineering operations such as plug and abandonments, hot tapping of wellheads, cement squeezes, water shut off remediations, coiled tubing interventions, TCP operations, Underbalanced snubbing and well completions in both Origin’s CSG and Conventional portfolios.

Kieran joined the inGauge Energy team in April 2018 as a Senior Well Engineer in Drilling and Completions, initially providing engineering on legacy oil and gas well abandonments in NSW with complex well integrity issues. More recently, Kieran has been working as part of a team drilling and completing four carbon capture CO₂ injection wells in the Ottaway basin. His most recent project in September 2020 involved drilling a 2800m CO₂ injection well in the Surat Basin.

Jon Bennett : Project & Construction Manager

Jon has twenty five years operational experience, including twelve years management experience in roles such as Pre-Development Manager, Construction Manager, Civil Construction Manager and several management roles in large scale Agriculture; demonstrating competency in management of construction to support the Oil and Gas industry, complex project planning and execution.

Jon is an experienced professional with a strong focus on business outcomes. Offering experience in planning, design, and construction of gathering, power, well-pad, civil and other CSG facilities. Proven strengths in business and project management and driving efficiencies through innovation and simplification over a range of industries. In his management roles Jon has proudly achieved and maintained industry leading EHS performance across operations.

Nick Fraser: Environmental Engineer

Nicholas is an environmental engineer who has extensive experience in the environmental industry. With a broad environmental background Nicholas has expertise in surface water, groundwater, contaminated land, noise, air quality, legislative auditing, and compliance. Nicholas’s multidisciplinary experience provides invaluable insight into a wide range of environmental issues and solutions. Throughout his career Nicholas has worked extensively with local, state, and national legislative guidelines with in-depth knowledge of Queensland, New South Wales, and Northern Territory legislative frameworks.

Jordy Mills : Junior Well Engineer                                          

Jordy has experience across full lifecycle elements of the petroleum industry in Australia, New Zealand and the Black Sea. Her work experience to date has ranged from regional exploration geophysical studies to reservoir development studies for mature fields and from field development planning to well integrity studies and decommissioning planning.

Jordy brings a multidisciplinary approach to her work, through her mixed background and experience in geoscience and petroleum engineering. She completed her Master of Petroleum Engineering degree in 2020 through Heriot Watt University, her thesis investigated Carbon dioxide storage potential and probabilistic injection rate potential for several depleted gas condensate fields using real field data and dynamic modelling.

Artur Shapoval : Graduate Engineer

Vicky Cartwright : Technical Assistant                       

Vicky is nearing the completion of her PhD (Materials Science) and has experience working with a wide range of materials, with a particular interest in their structure. She works with the team assisting in the production of client reports, with a focus on Environmental Management Plans (EMPs).

Having worked in various industries, including education and research, Vicky has a broad experience base in communication and relationship building roles. She pride’s herself in her ability to form and maintain new working relationships and support team members.
