inGauge executes water monitoring well and seismic campaign for NeuRizer

inGauge executes water monitoring well and seismic campaign for NeuRizer

In early 2022, InGauge Energy commenced site works and subsequent drilling and seismic operations in the Telford Basin, as part of the data gathering for the future gas field development project in Leigh Creek. Earthmoving and civils equipment was mobilised in early March in preparation geotechnical drilling, seismic operations and the main investigation drilling campaign. Civils works commenced in March with construction including the main drilling pads and associated infrastructure to host the Silver City Drilling rig, Silver City Rig 4. A shallow Geotechnical investigation program commenced in March, with the 2 short campaigns concluding in April. The Drill Rig for the well campaign was mobilised in late April 2022 with drilling activities commencing in early May. This main drilling campaign targeted all 3 seams for evaluation and data gathering with all holes being completed for ongoing groundwater monitoring. Drilling activities concluded in July and was followed by a 3D seismic campaign that concluded in mid-August 2022.

inGauge looks forward to continue our next project with NeuRizer in 2022.

Successful Carpentaria 2H Well Flow Test

Successful Carpentaria 2H Well Flow Test

We are pleased to celebrate with Empire Energy as we carry out the flow test on their successful Carpentaria 2H well.  inGauge is proud of working with Empire to have pumped the largest propped frac in the Beetaloo Basin and we believe, in fact, the largest in Australia.  The significant logistical and technical effort has been rewarded with strong gas flows from the well with initial sustained rates of 2.6mmscfd.  The learnings from this well will also be crucial to optimise the even larger Carpentaria 3H well planned for later this year.  We look forward to working closely with Empire to make this coming well a further success for them.

Project Kindy Update

Project Kindy Update

Project Kindy Update – In 2020 inGauge donated to Project Kindy in order to empower a Malawi community with fresh and local, clean water with four new wells.

inGauge is pleased to partner with Project Kindy, a small charity working with children in Africa.  inGauge provided funding for a well to be drilled to provide fresh water for a Malawi community.  The fresh water makes a huge difference, especially to the women and children of the community who previously had to undertake a long and unsafe walk many kilometres to get water.

The Mulambe Kindergarten featured in this video, are just one of the groups benefiting from this well for daily kindy duties such as hand-washing, healthy cooking and clean drinking water.

inGauge is proud to continue our partnership with Project Kindy to support, protect and empower children at Mulambe.

NSW Government Well Remediation Contract Award

NSW Government Well Remediation Contract Award

Since winning the original tender with the NSW Government in 2014, inGauge Energy has identified, desktop assessed and ranked in order, a dataset of 883 wells drilled in NSW dating back to 1895. To date, inGauge has conducted countless field expeditions to find, inspect and report on some 206 well sites, generated 325 downhole diagrams, completed 126 wellsite interventions, cut and capped 17 wells and successfully remediated 11 of the highest risk wells.

The successfully awarded contract requires inGauge Energy to decommission the wells including planning, contracting, procurement, civil works, execution of the subsurface abandonment and remediation of the sites. The inGauge team are looking forward to delivering a safe, successful and technically robust project for the NSW Government.

inGauge executes Wellesley 2 for Lakes Blue Energy

inGauge executes Wellesley 2 for Lakes Blue Energy

In February 2022, InGauge Energy was contracted to plan and execute drilling operations on Wellesley 2, an exploration gas well in Queensland. Easternwell Rig 101 was mobilised after civils operations were completed. The well was drilled in just over 12 days from spud to rig release. All operational evaluation objectives were successfully completed, including multiple electric line logging operations and a drill stem test. The well was decommissioned on the 12th of February. Minimal downtime (<4%) was recorded throughout the execution phase of operations.

inGauge looks forward to continue our next project with Lakes Blue Energy later in 2022.
